These data represent original crime reports or supplemental reports that have been entered into the Houston Police Department’s Report Management System within the last 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. The crime data represent basic/general information for incidents based on the FBI’s Uniform Crime Report coding system. The crime data contain only Part I crime as defined in the FBI’s Uniform Crime Report. Users are reminded of the following limitations:
Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher or recent versions of Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera are required to use the mapping site. The Adobe Flash Player 9.x or higher is also required. As a rule, this plug-in will likely be installed on your system. If not, your system will usually prompt the user to install it.

These crime data are from the Houston Police Department’s monthly release of the Uniform Crime Report to the FBI. This report is released between 15 and 20 days from the last day of the previous month.
The information contained in these reports is a monthly breakdown of Part I crimes for which HPD wrote police reports. The data are broken down by police districts and beats, and displayed by street name and block number.
